Land's End to John O'Groats

Carol and Richard went over the Stiperstones early today and through Westbury, their nearest point to home. They then stopped at Knockin and sent us this priceless text message:

“At knockin. Having a coffee in the knockin shop. Head wind again. And rich is drooling over a pristine mitsubishi gto ’92 twin turbo”

They’re camping at Bulkeley in Cheshire between Nantwich and Wrexham, having completed 58 miles today. Total distance so far is 417.1 miles.

Also, we forgot to mention that we drove to Bridges youth hostel to meet them last night. For the most part, they seem to be coping well, although Carol is walking like she just got off a horse.
